ABOUT DALE OGBURN

I'm Dale Ogburn and racing is my life. At the age of 5 years old I began my racing career, traveling across the country visiting different race tracks. Each year progressing to bigger and faster cars until the age of 17.
I felt the need to do more for the country that enabled me to have these great opportunities, and to try something outside of my comfort zone. I enlisted in the US Army as a Paratrooper with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), where I would spend the next six years serving in southeast Asia, Afghanistan, and numerous other countries.

After seperating from the military, like many veterans I struggled mentally. I found peace in going back to what I thought I had left behind. Racing. I was lucky enough to find a way to come back to motorsports as a professional. Although I had the opportunity to race in an assortment of motorsports over the past few years, in 2022 I decided to take on the role of car owner, and driver of a Asphalt Touring Modified.

Dale Ogburn’s dream of creating his motorsport empire materialized in 2018 when he founded Dale Ogburn Motorsports (DOM). Armed with years of experience, a loyal support network, and an undying love for the sport, Dale set out to make a mark in the racing world. From the outset, Dale Ogburn Motorsports was built on the core values of integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. The team’s mission was not only to excel in races but also to inspire and nurture young talent who shared the same ardor for motorsports.

Our team competed in different racing series, from local races to prestigious championships, consistently achieving podium finishes. Through wins and challenges, Dale Ogburn Motorsports improved their strategies, enhanced their vehicles, and adapted to the changing world of motorsports. Their growth wasn't just about winning races but also about learning, evolving, and pushing the limits in the racing world.
